On Friday, September 24, Carlsbad’s quaint Village-by-the-Sea comes alive with music as part of the seventh annual Carlsbad Music Festival. The Village Music Walk kicks off at the Carlsbad Village Train Station with a site-specific performance by the acclaimed percussion group Red Fish Blue Fish followed by a series of performances by Festival and local musicians at venues including cafes, galleries and record stores across the Village. All of the venues are within a 3-minute walk of each other and audience members can create their own music experience by choosing which events to attend. This is a very rare opportunity to hear the world-class musicians of the Carlsbad Music Festival in incredibly intimate venues.

Part curated festival, part community music-making, the Village Music Walk will be a fun, social and adventurous evening of music and exploring the village of Carlsbad.
